What was once a popular game on the desktop system went on to become a prominent pastime way for all the smart device users. Mahjong is all about matching the same pieces and removing it from the leaderboard to earn points. When it comes to the matching of the pieces, it can be done based on the design, texture, drawing, or number that each piece carries on its face. The game is quite interesting to play and the presence of other modes and level take the excitement of the gameplay to a new level.
Developed by the team of 1C Wireless, this puzzle genre game offers three different modes to the gamers to choose from. First, it is the Classic Mode. Under this mode, you get to play the original game. You can play as long as you want. All you need to do it to match the pieces and clear the leaderboard. Once that has been done, the game will show you a new leaderboard board packed with more pieces.
The second mode the game is ‘Time Attack’ mode. If challenges are something that you adore tackling, then this is the mode that is perfect for you. The timer keeps you on your toes and makes your fingers tap on the screen as fast as you can. The faster you complete the level the better would be your record in the game. Also, you get to earn more points when you complete the level in the stipulated time.
The last mode is the ‘Challenge Mode’. In this mode, it is all about how fast you pick the tiles. The level has been designed especially for the advanced players. Thus, the faster you choose, the more are the points that you earn from the game. So, if you have an immense experience of playing Mahjong, do give this mode a shot. Though the gameplay of the ‘Time Attack’ mode and the ‘Challenge Mode’ may sound similar but there is a slight difference. When you win in the later mode, you unlock more towers i.e. leaderboards.
Mahjong is known for its long-lasting appeal. It is hard to resist this game and harder it is to quit the game in between a puzzle round. In case, you are stuck in a particular round, there is a ‘Hint’ option resting in the bottom left corner of the interface which can help you out to continue with the game.
The interface of the game is minimal and soothing. The sound effect on the matching the pieces, completing a level, matching wrong pieces, etc. add to the fun. One can even mute these sound effects and the background soundtrack for more focus and concentration.
